What does it feel like to #getyourassintonature?

It’s liberating. So often as women, we are told to regulate the amount of skin we show. Being in nature in the most natural state a human can be in is so empowering. I finally feel like I OWN my own body.

What is your favorite part about #getyourassintonature?

Being aware of a community of like-minded people who enjoy getting naked outside, for whatever the reason, is awesome! It sucks that these kinds of communities are constantly targeted on Instagram for inappropriate content but I love that #getyourassintonature is back and with a vengeance and message!

What does adventure mean to you?

Adventure means trying something new, exploring something different, challenging yourself. Whenever I sign up for a new class, a new experience, saying yes to a new group of friends inviting me out, I consider it an adventure. If we change our mindset about things that make us nervous and uncomfortable, more of life becomes an adventure.

How do you exhibit courage when you #getyourassintonature?

Taking off all your clothes in nature takes a certain kind of courage. However, being able to take off and let go the years of body shaming and regulation takes even more courage. It’s hard stepping into the unknown but, stepping into it as your true and naked self is truly beautiful.
