It was the end of the day at Haulover Beach near Miami when a bright full Moon rose in the East. I could not resist the temptation to have a photo of “two moons” so I asked a fellow beachgoer to take this picture. (Sorry the Moon does not really show.)
Being nude in nature is excellent by itself, but the wonderful openness of those who partake will really make your day. I did not know the fellow beachgoer, and she (and her friend) had already dressed to leave… but they did not hesitate at my request.

Excellent! Not my first time… and there have been many times since (both beaches and hiking). And there will be many more times in the future. It feels excellent and, if you run into others who are also enjoying the moment, you will find them to be universally friendly.
Get your ass in nature! What are you waiting for?
The joy I see in the photos… a joy I know well and am happy to be sharing.
It means expanding my limits – proving to myself that I can do more than I thought I could do.
The first time I did a naked hike, I carried my clothes… and put them on as soon as anyone approached. It took courage that first time, but I was overwhelmed by the desire to get my ass in nature.
The first time I spoke to a stranger on a nude beach… me nude, them nude… took some guts too. But I soon discovered something: It’s not scary. The only thing to be afraid of on a nude beach… is that awful feeling at the end of the day when you put your clothes back on!
