It felt like an act of rebellion against winter, against everyone who thinks that being nude is unnatural.
I love seeing people comfortable in their own skin, and I love seeing adventure. I loved feeling comfortable enough with my surroundings and with my friends to get fully naked, tromp across the lake, playing with the dogs, all naked.
Adventure means doing something new. A new food, a new place, a new skill, anything new and brave and bold. It means going and doing something new to you.
The act of getting into nature is courageous because with all the surgeries, all the health issues I have, nature isn’t easily accessible. It’s courageous to even imagine getting naked in nature.
