My boyfriend and I had been doing international long distance (Scotland to California) until the pandemic sent me home to quarantine with my loved ones. Though it definitely threw a wrench in my life plans, being home with him, in such a beautiful place and during such a scary time, was the greatest gift. We found a way to truly ‘socially distance’ while investing even more in our love for nature and for each other. There’s something about the back country that reminds you of what really matters.
I’m back in Scotland now but looking at this photo and remembering this place cures a little bit of the homesickness. And the fact that you can tell exactly what he was wearing that day makes me laugh – apparently we need to be naked outside more often!

Pure bliss!
I love how this account encourages body love for the right reasons.
Adventure means letting go of the expectations we have for ourselves, our day-to-day pressures and responsibilities, and living spontaneously.
Embracing our bodies, caring for ourselves and trusting ourselves are all incredibly courageous tasks!
