As elite runners, we spend so much time in nature but not nearly enough time appreciating it. We’re often focusing on getting the run done, counting the miles, listening to our bodies, but not really seeing the world around us. It feels nice to stop and smell the roses- even if those “roses” are actually train tracks.

Freeing! For a long time I had way too much shame around my own body and it feels good to feel comfortable in my own skin.
Feeling the wind on my cheeks!
Getting out of your comfort zone, no matter where you are or what you’re doing. It’s different for everyone but getting comfortable being uncomfortable is one of the most important ways we grow as people.
Enjoying the way my body looks no matter who’s seeing it.
