Freedom: the sharp feeling of cold air on the skin, the rough bark of a tenacious tree underfoot, and the whip of hair flung by the wind.

What does it feel like to #getyourassintonature?

The elements on my bare skin always give me a thrill that feels like freedom. Sun, wind, water – an intimate caress.

What is your favorite part about #getyourassintonature?

I love to see real human bodies experiencing nature, and to share in the thrill and joy that baring it all can bring.

What does adventure mean to you?

Adventure is multi-faceted. Adventure can be locating a secret swimming hole and skinny dipping. Adventure can also be an outing of hard hiking, smelly clothes, and tiny tents.

How do you exhibit courage when you #getyourassintonature?

My favourite way to exhibit courage in nature is by rockclimbing. I love the mental challenge required to face the fear of falling and push myself to reach for the next hold when it isn’t a sure thing. Recently some friends and I spontaneously jumped naked into a river with an overhanging cliff and deep-water soloed. This was certainly an exhilarating way to blend facing the fear of falling with an equally challenging task – facing the fear of lifting legs up high while naked in front of others!
