The community is the heart and soul of GetYourAssIntoNature. People of all shapes, sizes, colors, backgrounds, and corners of the world inspire each other to free themselves from judgment, unite with nature, and use social media in a unique and honest way.
The GYAIN community is intended to be a place where people can share their stories and experiences. Community posts could include an experience of intense connection to the natural world, an experience of freedom from prior trauma, a moment with a loved one or a number of different experiences that can be had in the outdoors. Anyone is welcome to contribute to the community gallery, but there are a few rules. Apply to contribute to the community gallery or view the entire gallery below.
Have you ever seen an image on Get Your Ass Into Nature and been motivated to get out and explore the world around you? Have you ever seen an image of someone who looks just like you and found new confidence in your own image? Have you ever considered using your social media in a way that is far more honest with yourself and your followers after seeing a GYAIN post? If you have, that’s awesome. That’s how the community is supposed to work. We as administrators can’t inspire a change in people’s mindset or actions alone. We need the help of ordinary people just like you!

At Get Your Ass Into Nature, we want to have as wide a reach as possible. In order to do this we have invested in a number of digital platforms to expand this reach as make our platform as accessible to the world as possible. We also put a ton of time into sharing stories, moderating the community and planning events.
