Our group of friends decided to take a road trip. All the way from Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Glacier National Park, Montana. We have all been friends since elementary school, and thought it was the perfect time to go on an adventure together. While we were in Glacier, we obviously had to go on the Road to the Sun. Off of the road, we found the hiking trail to St. Mary’s lake. We hiked until we got to the cool beach, and found the perfect spot to sit and have our well deserved lunch. We found a sheltered stream that fed into the giant lake. We ate our lunch, got naked, and tip-toed through the icy mountain water, and stood in all our glory- closer to nature than any of us had been. Staring into magnificent mountains and bright blue waters, we can all agree, it was euphoria like we had never felt before.
